Only is a fictitious spring water brand created in response to the lack of variety, personality, and creativity within what is typically a very sterile category.

As someone who rarely drinks alcohol and is actively trying to reduce soda consumption, sparkling water is often my default choice when out for a meal. Yet more often than not, it’s served in a generic, uninspiring bottle – many of which blur into one another.

This highlighted an opportunity to do something more considered with such a simple product, and to rethink how water could look, feel, and be perceived.

That idea became Only: spring water with greater energy and standout appeal, designed to bring character to a traditionally sterile category.

Drawing inspiration from the craft beer design scene, this personal project aims to push water away from its usual dry positioning through confident typography, restraint, and a more expressive visual language.
